I don’t think SeungGi or Hook plans to get rich off the membership fees. Some fans want the privileges of an official fanclub membership, but running a fanclub takes hard work, time and very importantly, money. And the extra money international fans have to pay is for shipping cost of the fanclub merchandise. But if you feel the membership is not worth your money, you’re not obligated to join.
Do you think Hook will announced the total # of members recruited from both international and local?
Well, last year they announced it by leaking everyone’s personal information. I hope they find a better way to do it this year.

As long as you let them know the name on the account you’re using to wire the money, they’ll match it to your application.

You can send them a copy of your deposit receipt, but it’s not necessary. All they need is the name on the bank account you’re using to wire the money, and you can include that piece of information when you email them your application form.

Just to share. I’m from Singapore. I also cant perform a telegraphic transfer in KRW via Internet Banking. You will have to go down to those banks/branches who has a remittance counter. They should be able to do it for you. You may also wish to call your bank’s customer service hotline and enquire/confirm. Alternatively, if there’s a branch of a Korean bank in your vicinity, then they must be able to remit in KRW. A final note, I thin Hook is expecting full KRW60,000 so you probably will have to accept/bear all charges by remitting and receiving bank. Hope above helps.

Hi tryp, I’m from Manila and I’m having a hard time sending my payment to Hook. My bank said I need to do a telegraphic transfer and needs Swift code, etc. I have researched for their requirements but my problem is I need to input the beneficiary’s address and contact #, otherwise they would not send. Does Hook have a generic address and contact # I could write there and be done with it? Sorry I’ve been wanting to pay since your announcement and don’t really know who to ask. Thanks. They will eventually send out a confirmation after all the applications are processed. For now, you just have to assume that they’ve received it.
