Lee SeungGi as an artist;
*Reason for becoming a singer? – I just loved singing so I was a band vocal in high school. While in band singing, I met Lee SunHee sunbae-nim and the director of Hook, I decided to be a singer.
*Lee SeungGi’s music? – I am called a ballard singer, but personally I like rock and I like sweet and rhythmical songs like “Love Time”. So until now I can’t pinpoint what genre I like to concentrate on or good at. At the moment, I am trying to explore all genre of music.
*What do you want to express in music? – When I sing, I concentrate expressing what the songs and lyrics are based on. Technique is important too but I want to convey the emotion of the lyrics most. Like, if it is a sad song, I want to convey enough of sad feelings and if it’s a song like “Love Time”, I want to convey the feeling of wanting to love, or feeling of asking someone out for the first time. The most important point I want to express in music is that whether the listeners understood the meaning/feeling of the songs and the lyrics 100%.
*Things you want to give to Japanese fans – I really think cultural contents are great. In different countries, only one thing you can show is different cultural contents. Leaving different nationalities behind, I was real happy that I’ve met fans who like Lee SeungGi’s songs through Budokan concert.

*After this? – If there is any chance to be with Japanese fans, I will be there. Also from now, I have plans to have concerts not only in Korea or Japan but do same in other Asian countries. Also I will always be busy with dramas, variety programs and singing even in Japan, so please wait for me..
*Before singing (he said in Japanese) “At last, how was it?” “Were you enjoying the concert?” “I have been so happy as well. Thank you all so much for coming here. And I will always try my best in return and everyone, I love you all…”

Tryp, as I could not watch whole clips last night, I did not realize there was an interview about being an actor
I am sure lot of you who became a fan because of dramas, so I add this again.. Hope you don’t mind.
I skipped the part about Budokan concert. He was excited about the concert also worried about it. As he did not have much time to prepare because of the drama and other schedules.
But he was impressed about Japanese fans’ full of energy and Budokan stage which he appreciates very much… etc..
Lee SeungGi as an actor;
*Most important thing about being an actor? – I am not in a position of talking about acting yet. I’ve only started to learn and enjoy about acting.
But I think the most important thing about being an actor is how to make the characor’s feeling and mind as your own. In drama, there are situations and scripts.
It’s important to analyze why the character says this with what kind of mind in that particular scene.
* The role which you cherish most? – Always the latest role. Specially now I haven’t gotten out of the role, Lee JaeHa, the King of “The King Two Hearts” and I still feel his presence in me.
So if you ask me which role now, it’s the king, Lee JaeHa.
*The role you want to play? – A lot of roles as I think any kind of role should be interesting. Specially, a role which action is added on. Before I learnt lot of actions when I was preparing a role but instead, I have been playing a role, not only not able to fight but being beaten.. So in future I want to play a more man like role..

It’s definitely better, cos the song was written for Lee JaeHa, and he played that character so well. Therefore can relate to the lyrics and emote better when singing the song.
