it’s like a seunggi field trip for you on the days you won’t be at the concert! ha ha ha. all the money you’re spending on seunggi endorsements… it’s a good thing you don’t live in korea — you would go totally broke!

you MUST get the cece mag. I’m SO loving the photos! and so curious to read the article.

surprised by the fubu girl. retailers in korea are known to be super professional and nice, but perhaps a bit snobby sometimes! (i can say that about koreans since i’m korean?!)

love that you saw kim jaedong! he’s so beloved in korea and he’s always been super sweet to seunggi!

looking forward to your next next travelogue post!

Wow! It’s indeed a SeungGi field trip as Ann said! How I wish I could be there in Seoul even just to attend LSG’s concert. But based on your experience, I need to work hard on my Hangeul to be able to enjoy my trip (if that will ever happen).

Thank you for sharing your experience. It really makes me happy reading anything related to SeungGi. πŸ™‚ I feel so proud of him that people loves him so dearly to the extent of traveling very far just to support him. Wow! The Lee Seung Gi Effect is boosting Korean tourism! I hope the guys in 1n2d will mention international fans’ support or attendance to LSG’s concert!

Looking forward to your next update. Take care and God bless you always.

Enjoyed reading your travel log. Omg, the SAEM shop is indeed full of Seunggi literally! I’m so happy for you…like you’re one of Seunggi’s greatest fans, and now finally, you’ll get to see him for real. I really hope you’ll get a chance to talk to him or even shake his hand. In a Strong Heart taping perhaps?
I know this trip will be super memorable for you. Have fun girl!

thanks for sharing this! enjoy reading it soo much!
the saem totally makes as much use of Seunggi as possible. the 1st shop basically covered with just Seunggi pictures! are they selling their products or Seunggi’s goodies ? πŸ˜€

Boo FUBU salesgirl!! It’s her fault they didn’t score a sale.

BTW, tryp, I’ve always thought you are a Korean speaker??

Myeongdong is one of my favourite places too, it’s a lot of fun just walking around. They’ve got this pressed seasoned squid snack stall, which is just delicious. Plus, the cosmetic shops are always handing out free stuff, sometimes when I was thirsty I just looked for a cosmetic store and sure enough, one of them would be handing out free bottled coffee lol.

If you can, drop by the area of Shinchon/Ehwa Women Univ shopping area. The restaurant/bars in shinchon are great, there are lots of food there, and lots of soju/beer-chicken place as well. In Ehwa, things are slightly cheaper than Myungdong, they’ve got gorgeous heels and lots of cheap clothes.

Can’t wait to read your next travel posts! Have lots of fun!

Love your travel blog and very envy too!

If you are not sure about subway trains, write down the station name in Chinese and show it to the person behind the ticket counter. I’ve found most of them can read Chinese.

A good place to shop or just window-shop is the area around Hongik University. It has a artsy feel, lots of little shops and restaurants. The staff at the TI office there was super friendly and spoke very good English.

    Keep warm and have fun!

The Saem poster is free, tryp… we do not need to buy at all…that’s what the staff at busan told us…. ^_^

there are postcards too, 2 types…and we can take as much as we can…hahaha….

i have that paper bag too!!!!!!!!!!!!

ceci is already selling…purple1n2d bought it on 17th Nov….. the reason i did not buy is…..it’s really really heavy and thick….. korean fashion magazine is really thick… and SGi may only be on 10pages or so… so i don’t really buy such magazines nowsaday..

I will be going to The Saem again…..
