This seems to be a hot topic among Korean netizens right now, and I actually had the same question when I watched it. 😦 But let’s hope it’s just some editing error.
During the delivery race broadcasted last week, Eun Ji Won pretended that he spilled the water when he checked in with PD Na at the rest stop, so he did not get the lunch allowance. He ended up forming an alliance with SeungGi (who got 10,000 won for lunch) so he could get a free meal. What the netizens noticed was that SeungGi bought a lot of food with just 10,000 won, so they actually checked out the menu at the Gapyeong Rest Area: Special Tonkatsu costs 8500 won, and Chuncheon Dak Galbi costs 9000 won. Along with the 2500 won SeungGi spent on gum, the total is actually 20,000 won. Where did the extra 10,000 won come from?
The netizens are asking for an explanation from the production team.

1N2D prides itself on being a “real” variety program. So when that comes into question, it is a really big deal.
But the PD just came out with a very good explanation. Hopefully the controversy will die down soon.
