Lee Seung Gi, beating idols as #1 singer likely to succeed in Japan advancement

Singer/actor Lee Seung Gi has been ranked as the #1 singer who’s likely to succeed in Japan advancement, beating out idol groups.

The online music site Monkey3 conducted a survey of “which singer will likely succeed in Japan advancement” from March 3 to March 9. The survey showed that, among the 522 participants, 45% (234) of them supported Lee Seung Gi, making him the overwhelming winner.

For Lee Seung Gi who’s about to advance to Japan, this survey seems to be very meaningful as it can foretell his future success to some degree. Since Lee Seung Gi is not only a singer but an actor and an entertainer as well, it’s expected that he would be able to establish himself firmly and enjoy great popularity in Japan.

The people who voted for Lee Seung Gi responded, “With his singing abilities, he’ll be accepted in Japan too”, “He’s quite well recognized in Japan through the dramas ‘Brilliant Legacy’ and ‘My Girlfriend is a Gumiho'”, “Lee Seung Gi is a megatrend.”
