Happy 2nd Anniversary to Strong Heart!

PD Park’s tweet:

Strong Heart started on October 6, 2009, so today’s broadcast on October 4 is Strong Heart’s 2 year anniversary. What a meaningful day. Please cheer for the young MC Lee Seung Gi’s Strong Heart that’s starting afresh.

I’m not quite sure what to make of this. Is it pure coincidence or is it fate?! SeungGi made his MC debut through Strong Heart 2 years ago. His first recording was on September 24, 2009, and the first broadcast was on October 6, 2009. Exactly 2 years later, he’s making his SOLO MC debut, also through Strong Heart. I don’t think anyone could have foreseen this, and I seriously doubt that Hook would want to plan SeungGi’s career this way. But the unexpected always happens and SeungGi is in a bind. Being the good person he is, the only thing he can do is make some more sacrifices, take on extra responsibilities, and rise to the occasion.

It’s true that SeungGi is (awfully) young, (distractingly) good-looking, and (regrettably?) lacking in life experiences. But he’s definitely not short on talent. In fact, he has so much talent that it will be a huge waste if he only devotes himself to emceeing. And because he has so much talent, he’s made himself indispensable in every area he’s involved in. That’s why the entire country was in uproar when he wanted to leave variety to focus on other parts of his career.

But now something unexpected happened and Kang Shim Jang is becoming Lee Shim Jang. As a fan of SeungGi the person, the only thing I can do is simply appreciate the sacrifices he’s making and support him in whatever steps he has to take.

So, happy 2nd anniversary to Strong Heart! And congratulations to MC Lee Seung Gi for the amazing progress he has made in the last 2 years!

He is indeed a talented individual, yet a humble one.
He has a heart as big as his achievements and capabilities.
Although he’s lacking in life experiences, he has more to show that meets the eye.
He is eager to learn which reflects his heodang’s personality.
He is hardworking and would never let anyone down.
At such a young age, he’s proven many times why he’s rightful to be where he is today.
But with such young age, he’s experienced pressure which seems unbearable.
But inspite of this, he did everything wonderfully and above expectations.

Congratulations MC Lee Seung Gi! Airens are proud of you. Will support you all the way!

    Happy 2nd Anniversary Strong Heart.
[but please if SeungGi-ya wants to leave one day, please let him. MC-ing is not his thing alone. he needs to pursue foreign activities to reach out to his international fans and do what he does best and love the most, singing! and more of acting as well. 🙂 ]

  7. MASTER_AIREN says:

    Thanks, Tryp.

  9. ay says:

If he wants to be become an international star (which he should and has the talents to be one), emceeing won’t get him there.

  10. seunggicharm says:

Seung Gi is really far better than others.
He’s shining with so much talent,a guy with a pure heart,a person with so much humility and never forgets to look back from where he started.
Regardless of his experiences in life,it shouldn’t be looked as a negative part of him.In such a young age,he has gone through so many sacrifices just to be where he is now. Even if he hardly get some sleep, for as long as he can do his job well or be able to show up to his engagements and all,it’s fine with him. He won’t even complain just so he can give the people good entertainment. Emceeing is just a part of his job,and he’s been doing so well on this aspect. So I hope critics will also look at the good stuffs he accomplished in such a short period of time.
He’s a good singer,a versatile actor and I believe he already has proven himself with all the awards he received even lacking on personal experiences…
He’s a person who aims to give joy not only to his fans in Korea but to international fans as well who’s been dying to meet him one day.So should he decide to leave emceeing for a while and focus on his 1st love which is singing (and probably acting too?^_^) let’s give him that chance. It’s not bad to aim for better opportunities that would make him accomplish more on the things he does best.

Happy 2nd anniversary to Strong Heart!Seung Gi-ya you ahve all the love and support of every Airens across the world. You’re doing great..Keep on inspiring people..Spread your wings and fly to greater horizons..^_^
We are so proud of you..saranghae!
    thanks tryp!
