They are really a match! I’m not saying this because i want them to be together. But it’s been a while since they did TK2H. and sometimes paired couple looks good together because they get the chance to be together for a period of time. But for the 2 of them,their looks and aura changed and they’re not doing any drama together. Still they managed to look good together. They are really match made in heaven. or maybe they are really Royal Couple from their past lives.

Did she smiled because it’s Japanese magazine not Korean magazine that no reporter asked her about the ratings dropped down while the drama broadcasting in Korea like tons of questions that Lee Seung Gi have answered as he made responsibility alone from the last interviews in June? I wonder why she always did interviews with media after her each drama or movie before, but did not do any of interviews with TK2H?

exactly….oh my ratings is not a big deal anyway not only The King hearts encountered that but many recent dramas maybe they make it that kind of issue coz they were famous and big stars in their respective career but it doesn’t make sense oh well, we are entitled in our own oppinion but the ratings did not affect Ha Ji Won popularity her movie As One was blockbuster that’s she was received the Producers Award at PIFAN festival same thing with Lee Seung Gi ‘s career as a singer as you can see he have so many concerts here and there and I red that he offered them to do several movies and TV cf and besides he only already explained the reasons behind that TV ratings so what’s the point? Oh well this is only my opinion for me ha ji won and lee seung gi are the best i like them both and i will keep supporting them no matter what …AHHA couple fighting

If there were more love scenes between them, I think the ratings could drop lower than. In Korea, the ajumma viewers often decide the TV remote at the drama broadcasting time, and there’s a fact that the ajumma fans didn’t like their “nation’s son/ younger brother” Lee Seung Gi have many sweet scenes with Ha Ji Won who is older too much than him
You guy can accept the siblings couple easily but the ajummas who loved him like a son can not, especially HJW is older than LSG about a decade of years old
whoa, why do i got the feeling here that there are Ah-Ha couple antis here guess we cant please everyone and some here has its favorite fandom from the other dramas of LSG,maybe the majority here didnt like the tandem of the two because of the big age gap,was it really because of the ajummas who loved LSG didnt like to see him with hajiwon who is also loved by many in korea or its the premise of the story they didnt like,well this just pain me a little in my heart since i love them and i think their chemistry was really something.well i know we have different likes and dislikes,but King2hearts really rocks for me.
you guys are seriously wrong.the ratings drop purely becoz of north korea content and political background which doesn’t relate or appeal to south koreans audience as seunggi pointed out in the interview. if ha ji won si and l sunggi pair was not liked then how com it managed 16.5%ratings in it’s pilot episode inspite of stiff competition..it was a rare drama with refreshing concept far way than the conventional ones.if you turn the pages of history you will notice drama with north korea content always had dismal ratings for example Myung Wol the Spy but this managed above 10% and12.3% on average(agb).so it can cosidered as hit anyways. so plz guys stop absurd reasoning.if you go through seunggi interviews and survey which stated that it had reached 20% in certain areas of seoul but yes didn’t relate to common people leaving in rural areas.this is where other dramas cashed in with conventional k-drama formula.but this drama strengthened seunggi’s foothold as a actor and put him in a different league for mustering up courage and going beyond the conventional type. many had to eat their words who doubted his credibility as a actor before the start of the drama.with this fresh drama he has attracted new fans which you will know if you read TK2H episods reviews on dramabeans.as seunggi said if he did a romantic comedy or conventional k drama ratings will be a gaurantee but sometime he said he need to do a role like TK2H which will give him credibility and satisfaction.
Maybe you didn’t read all the official Korean articles and even comments on other Korean sites. What LSG said on the interviews that’s just his optimism answers but not all. And the drama ratings dropped down because of the storyline was worse and some other reasons more but not because of the only bad taste of viewers. But as many recommends from both netizens and critical review, 2 of them were the script being worse after that and the acting of HJW was not reality!
sorry while i respect your opinion i don’t agree. i have read all official articles including the survey reports and analysis. i have not read anywhere that storyline was bad but yes it was offbeat when compared to conventional kdrama trend.as per my knowledgee both lee seung gi and ha ji won acting was critically acclaimed and praised by media.

my god you negative-minded anons need to chill. if you really are a true fan of the drama, and of lee seung gi and/or haji won, you wouldn’t have to whine and rant about low ratings and such. what’s it to you anyway? are you a stockholder of some sort of tk2h that low ratings affect you so much? what’s important is that the cast had a very meaningful time doing this drama. and that, they had attested to many times. and you guys hating on ha jiwon need to shut up. she doesn’t decide whether or not she does interviews and such. isnt it that for my girlfriend is a gumiho, lee seung gi also did not do post-drama interviews. and in fact, tk2h is the first time he did post-drama interviews. it’s really just scheduling conflicts, nothing more!
I have different thoughts than you. I love seeing Seung Gi on interviews, the more the better~ He is a witty and well spoken person and so attractive when answering questions on those interviews regarding ratings. HJW has already explained on why she took Hang Ah’s role on Korean national TVs and on other interviews too. In case you don’t know why she took the roles in TK2H and in movie Korea -she is a patriot, same as LSG. They all want North and South Korea in peace and to be reunited in the future. TK2H is really a meaningful drama regardless it’s ratings.
Those you said are not happened after the drama ended. As usual, the lead actors and actresses in the dramas would do interviews with the media, but with this drama, she didn’t do any of them while the 6 actors as Lee Seung Gi, Jo Jung Suk, Lee Yoon Ji, Yoon Je Moon, Lee Sung Min, Yoon Ye Jung all did. And certainly Lee Seung Gi did the most interviews with many of questions about the failure on ratings and even more suffered the critics about the PPL in the drama himself ><
So we called her attitude was an avoidance because it's not like what she did with her other succesfull dramas or movies before drama TK2H.
Remember in Korea, the ratings has an important position on measuring almost values included the awards. And the fact that TK2H was not certaintly a very excellent drama so that they could ignore the dropped-down-ratings.
Awards are not all but they could be also consider a recognition of the actor's efforts beside the TV ratings while broadcasting time. And the fact that our actors has been living and activing in Korea but not the oversea!
HJW really did mention the ratings and the role taking on TK2H on her many interviews on section TVs and other entertainment interviews during the drama airing and after. Just when she did talk about TK2H usually were with other topics together in the intervies unlike Seung Gi’s doing it solely for TK2H. You have to admit that Seung Gi really shone in TK2H so media just focus on him, there is nothing wrong for him to take all the attention, isn’t it?
to anonymous, i respect your point why LSG had all that interviews after TK2H and HJW didn’t. Ok let’s put it this way, what if HJW didn’t get invitation from media outlets to do an interview after tk2h? do you have any proof that she declined? and judging from the TK2H title alone, it’s “The King 2 Hearts” so basically and logically LSG will get much attention for playing Lee JaeHa as King (aren’t you happy with that?) AND what would be your reaction IF HJW did all the interviews instead of LSG? it would be funny right? and IMO the drama is not a failure on ratings, it’s just that tk2h counterparts (EM, RTP) are strong also…past is past, and for sure LSG & HJW are happy where they are right now!

Let’s just say that reason why Ha Ji Won didn’t have an interview was not because of avoidance,but maybe she wasn’t really ask at all? She’s been in the business for almost 2 decades,I bet she had her shares of some low ratings when she was just starting,She’s like been there than that.But,compare to Seung Gi coming from 2 huge successful dramas (BL 47% and MGIG 20+% ratings) the low ratings of TK2H was a first. being tagged as 70% man on television,reporters will really be curious to ask him,how does it feels?
Second ha Ji Won is known to be an excellent actress and being in TK2H makes no difference,she’s still awesome. But,with Seung Gi He’s not an actor per se but a singer,host/entertainer. But the moment he did TK2H he has proven the world that he can be one of the best actors in Korea. And that’s new to everyone. Again I bet reporters will be piling up just to ask him how he did it? Just like with the other characters of the story. Lee Sung Min he had so many support roles but TK2H gave him the name of the wonderful ever loving King. Lee Yon Ji and Jo Jun Sok they have proven that they’re are not just for support roles but for the title role too. Yoon Jae Moon oh what else can we say? Up to now i still thought of him as KIM BONG GU.
Regarding the drama? Past is past lets just all move on. Yes it has a few shares of low ratings,some bad story plot here and there,A little less emphasis on the lead couple. But hey,they did share a huge impact on people it is exciting,thrilling,and fresh to our eyes and it was BRILLIANTLY MADE. Let just leave it that way..

Sometime , i’m tired after read but i’m still to say. Truth, i’m not lie myself. Success drama really effect to action and anything but after happen until this day. Lee seunggi when recieve interview , i’m really proud. He ‘s man. Maybe Ha jiwon ‘s agency protect her. It’s okay.i love her more because seunggi alway support her. Some comment negative, not meaning hate but worried. All of us is hurt when my favorite need problem but it’s truth. If you’re fan lee seunggi long time , look growth of his job, his success, it’s so hard until this day. Hope new fan try understand s, so support of what that happy to our seunggi. Seunggi ‘ll hurt if he hear from his fan .
All i know is LSG N HJW earn alot more new international fans aft TK2H, though they are already very3 famous .The rating is not fantastic in Korea but internationally its number 1 .Only minority are antis HJW the rest of the fans from both side are supporting each other,mind you TK2H is very different from normal korean dramas.Enjoy hv peace with each others!

1)If you really cant stand TK2H or AhHa’s news, WHY ?? WHY DO YOU EVEN BOTHER reading articles relating to it? On the other hand, if I could, I would avoid reading your comment but I’ve read it so I feel the need to say something.
2)TK2H is NOT a failure. DONT FORGET that all the competing dramas got around the same range of ratings. If TK2H is a failure, SO ARE all the other competing dramas.
3)HJW’s acting was not a reality? Whoever think so must either have extremely high standards of acting.. even BEYOND THE STANDARDS of the INTERNATIONAL JUDGES OF SDA OR they dont even know acting to begin with. If whoever thinks the former, good luck on consoling yourself. And you think it’s easy to act out all the emotions while carrying a NK accent that you learnt overnight? Go try it yourself. My logic is this: You only have the right to criticise if you can do better. As an AIREN, you should also know that LSG even praised HJW as a ‘national treasure grade actress’ and ‘the best actress in this generation’.
4)The reason why TK2H ratings were slightly lower than the rest was due to it’s NK-SK storyline which was very close to home and something they feel very sensitive about. There are articles to prove this. And you can see from the recent olympics itself, the tension between NK-SK.
5)Why HJW did not do any post-drama interviews? Because she was busy, LIKE DUHHHHH!! If i’m not mistaken, she had to leave for photoshoot in Mexico, shooting CFs for SKII and KEB, taking on the NZ cultural ambassador post, and now, the Beijing mentoring stuff. think she’s very free is it? In fact, HJW doesnt do much post-drama interviews solely on her dramas. Even for SG which was a major hit, I dont recall if she did any which focused solely on SG. Also, sometimes, the decision for an interview is up to the directors and the actors’ agency, not the actors. So, who are you to say that she avoided the interviews?
To begin with, do you even know what kind of person HJW is? If you dont, go google and you’ll be amazed with her personality. Even LSG said that she’s ‘very sweet and innocent’. there you go.

TK2H is not a failure! Frankly, I’ve watched BL, though LSG was good in it but the drama did not leave an impact to me. After sometime, I even forgot about the drama because it’s just the typical Korean rom-com. However, TK2H is totally different. It’s story line is fresh and LSG acting was really matured transforming him from the boy-next-door type to a hot-and-sexy-man!

All I can say is I receintly finished watching TK2H and I must say I have never cried so much on anything in my life….. Beautiful story, characters are growing up slowly and thats what i loved. It took me 2 days to watch 20 episodes…. Wish I could get a dvd in UK
