Good to see Seung Gi won becuase he used what he learned from his 1n2d hyungs (specillay when they betrayed him) & of course from the evilness of PD Na…he really can think on his feet 🙂 Also, love to see his heodangness as always.
My family enjoyed watching it as much as it seems Seung Gi enjoyed doing it. You can also see how the running man PD seem to focus more on Seung Gi and of course his Jaseok hyung’s affection. Will the rating reflect the Seung Gi effect? Hope so! Love, love this episode :).
I think we did get the LSG Effect because 1N2D S2 was down 4 big points this week:

Although, RM did dip a teeny-tiny bit this week, too, but it’s not that noticeable:

I’ve been repeating the clip with the new song. So enjoyable. Sorry, Seung Gi, when you fell into the water, it hurt, right? But the song with your expressions…too precious!
Who cares abt ratings? At the end of the day the most important thing is SG and the members enjoyed themselves and we have so much fun watching the show.
As for loyalty to 1N2D; 6months have lapsed and not as if SG signed an indemnity with them not to appear in another variety.
Let’s move on, as SG is only a guest in RM.
I Care about the rating in the sense that I would like everyone to like my favorite artists in the same way as I do……..for me it’s just an indicator of that. I want all possible good things for them. Only by watching them can they fully appreciate their talents. ……so the more the better. 🙂
But again since the ratings covers only a section of a vast majority and many other parameters come in play too,,,,,so it should be taken into consideration in proper perspective.

Although I don’t understand Korean, I watched the entire episode beaming like an idiot ( so I was told) . Happiness is seeing Seung Gi having so much fun and it’s so good to hear his hearty laughter. But u are right about RM simply having one game after another, n having not much interactions. That’s why 1n2d ss1 is a much better show, in my opinion, not tt RM is not enjoyable – only for different reasons.
The person in question bashed Seung Gi for leaving 1N2D, bashed Tryp and people who defended Seung Gi. I just don’t understand why he/she could not leave Seung Gi alone. Having an existential crisis I guess.

I would really have loved to have seen more of PSH who also has lovely expressions and responses ……..but I enjoyed seeing LSG a lot too. 🙂 Now I realize why people were so excited to hear the news about him appearing on a variety show. He is a natural born entertainer and fun company in a way that is welcome to everyone. No wonder he was highly successful in unscripted programs like 2n1d and strong heart. After seeing him in RM I am even bigger admirer of him now from before. 🙂 looking forward to part 2
I agree with u. Hope PSH’s fans won’t be tooits upset. She didn’t appear as much, but she barely contributed much though. It’s quite apparent tt the show was all abt SG! But I’m not complaining! Hope the next episode has just as much of him too!

It’s not about being upset but wanting to see more of someone you admire. PSH ‘s special place remains untouched in my heart BUT it does not stop me from admiring someone like LSG . One will have to be blind not to acknowledge his talents as an artist, entertainer and person. Irrespective of who got more time guests and members alike…..RM was great fun, the time flew before you realized that it had ended. In a variety program everyone taking part brings something to the table to make it a success. LSG made the major share of that and that’s why he is rated so highly in variety programs too. What a well rounded, interesting person, comfortable in his skin and gifted with amazing range of talents.
SG’s variety sense is really not a joke, i thought he was one of the permanent casts :D, he talks like a lot, even more than the members 🙂
He is definitely the next Yoo Jae Suk/Kang Hodong of Variety! Daebak! I so love the hanger,tennis racket and the somewhat butterfly catcher mission. He is so stubborn trying many strategy to fit and Jae Suk and Kwang Soo just kept on nodding/approving him but they kept on failing. 🙂 and the flying chair is simply awesome!! Seung Gi looks so good in every scene. RM fits him so well!

When you look at it he is more of the main host than a guest. He talks a lot more than the others and explain everything in detailed. Kang Hodong trained/teached him well to interact with audience and people with fine MCing. I know YJS is the Nation’s MC but when it comes to interacting with guests and reaching out to viewers Kang Hodong is still the best. Seung Gi showed it here,He gave the best example on how to handle a show,talk to your audience and co stars from time to time. All in all it was all fun and we got to see more of Seung Gi.
Or maybe the editing of RM PD is more of the games,unlike Na PD who is more of behind the scenes of the members which i like the most. Oh I’m so biased of Kang Hodong and Na PD. sorry..
I told my daughter tt SG appeared in most of the scenes in RM yesterday. More than most guests. Her reply was tt the show would give more screen time to the more valued guests n to those who are more entertaining! Well Seunggi certainly fits the bill!
Actually, I look at it a bit differently. It’s just my opinion but the host/ emcees/ interviewers role is to maintain the flow of the program and make the guests so comfortable and at ease that they can be their natural selves. With LSG’s vast experience in all these areas they really did not need to do much with him but in no way it is an indication of them not knowing how to run their show. With so many activities, interactions among RM members and popular artists, editing does play an important role in giving certain impressions to the viewers

I tried to watch a few episodes of 1N2D season 2 but each time only lasted 15min max. It’s really boring. Really miss Seung Gi in variety shows. i thought perhaps RM can borrow him for a while so that we can see him on RM. So Longing for the emperor’s return to the small screen!

I couldn’t check LSG news for last couple of days but now I am so excited, I watched this ep without any subs and was smiling the whole time just watching him having fun, if my family found out they’ll probably think I am crazy. I found it funny when I couldn’t understand it but with eng subs its hilarious cant wait for next week.
