Lee Seung Gi makes secret donation for Sewol tragedy?

Real fans of SeungGi should know what a kind and generous person he is, so it was quite astonishing that he got criticized by some for not making any donations for the Sewol tragedy. I thought this was common sense, but… Not getting his name in the news for making donations does NOT mean he did not make any donations!

Anyway, someone somehow found out how much SeungGi donated (100 million won), and it was posted on a blog. Hopefully this will satisfy those who doubt SeungGi’s integrity.

SG was always a noble and generous person and help but like him without being listed.
I love this man by his nature, sensitive and honest and does not need to publish their generous acts, like some jealous fit only to criticize but not to do anything as it always does LSG.

Of course he donated. I can’t call anyone who doubted him as a fan tbh. It’s also just common sense. An troll might not use logic, but a fan should. There are many big name celebs who didn’t send out press releases or weren’t found out yet for their donations. Did these doubters really think the dozen or so stars who did were the only ones in all of Korea who donated.

I wrote in my previous posting that SG should be one of the anonymous donors.
When a sincere person donates, one needn’t have to broadcast to everyone or the press.
Charity and sincerity come from the heart and you needn’t have to brag or publish it.
Sewol tragedy is already one of SK’s catastrophic disasters and unscrupulous people are scrutinizing who is donating and who isn’t. Let me put this question across; “IS THAT AN ISSUE?”
We should be looking at how the Government and the respective organizations are helping in the recovery, assistance to the families of the deceased and to prevent this type of tragedy from happening again.

As a fan, and knowing Seunggi’s heart i never had a slightest doubt with his sincerity & humility especailly to the recent Sewol tragedy. Though i havent heard his name donating from the media alongside with other Korean stars i deeply believed that He has done something Big without disclosing it to the press..and i really respect him for doing that..its his way of helping that im soo used to…reaching out to the needy ones off cam. I truly believe that if you’ve known Him those doubts would never even cross your mind-:)

This even did not make any suprised to me since he always as he is so WTF with those who think he didn’t donate?

I don’t think any true fan would doubt his generosity and compassion. It is very ‘Seung Gi’ to donate anonymously. He’s probably one of the first ones to do so.

I don’t believe any of those who who didn’t believe in our Seung Gi oppa should call themselves airens or even fans!!! everyone in the Korean industry (fan or non-fan) knows how much of a compassionate person he is ! and it is NOT a competition ! i personally believe all these people (or most of them to be fair) who did publicly were just trying to show how good they are ! but the deed is better done in secret right ? he probably did it the second he heard about it ……and it really is hard so do such a good deed and NOT ACTUALLY brag about it !! personally i always thought he did in secret and wasn’t too shocked when the news were confirmed !

I always knew that SeungGi made a big donation.. Dont know why people think that the stars who make out an ‘article’ of thier donations are the only ones donating.. Is it necessary to publicize a thing like this?! .. i mean use ur common sense ppl!

Who are the some? They should be outed, instead of it being cryptic.

Airens all knew deep down what kind of person he is & we never doubted him, did we? ❤

I feel sorry to Seunggi and the other entertainers who only wanted to do what they could. Privately make a donation to help the victims and the suffering families. They tried so hard not make it not about them, It is so horrible and shameful to have your privacy invaded~~~ by those that claim to be your fans~~~ Seunggi and other entertainers wanted this kept quiet and out of a show of respect it should have stayed that way~~~~~VERY SAD. Anyone that has come to know Seunggis heart never had a doubt that he donated.
