A CJ Entertainment PR official said on the 8th, “Entering the finishing stage of filming, Today’s Love has been set to open in mid-January. The post production schedule will be crucial, but since this is a movie about young people in their 20s, we see January as the right time for its release, targeting the students.”

Certainly agree with you tryp, about releasing the movie the same week as SG’s concert.
But I honestly think a rom-com movie like “Today’s Love” would come out better if released during Lunar new year festival since the next year’s valentine day also shares the same time with Lunar new year days.
Even Moon Chae Won said before that the movie might be released during valentine’s too. It might CJ changed their mind because of giving the more advantages/success for the other bigger rom-com movie (in term of expense) yet kinda of less attractive in viewers “Cest ci bon” with the cast Kim Yeon Sook, Kim Hee Ae, Han Hyo Joo, Jung Woo which firstly planned to released on the year-ending of 2014.
Probably that is their whole idea. Birthday, movie, concert and album too. Quadruple celebration all in one go to start off with the new year, 2015. 😛
I hope the concert is rather around 17 January than 11 Jan because there are more flights from Europe and they are cheaper.
