Seung Gi is just so sincerely to reveal about the break-even point of the movie since I haven’t seen anyone else do it so far. And if Love Forecast was considered as a smaller project (by Seung Gi, but I think so too, since normally most of the rom-com movies have small/average budgets), and we already know that they publicly revealed CJ E&M bought it with 6 billion won, but such as other movies revealed their production cost 7-8-9-10 or over 10 billion won according to wiki, so what were their break-even point indeed (no actor revealed it)? And if we look at the box office lists in 2014 or even other years, there were just some of movie surpassed those points which are considered as successful: 1.5 million movie goers for rom-com genre and 4 million movie goers for action/heavy genre or 6 million movie goers for blockbuster movies, if anything most of the rom-com/normal movies through several years even couldn’t reach 1 million movie goers. So at the end of the day, I just wonder if most of the movies so far which didn’t surpassed the basic point of each genre ((in public eyes)) were all flopped indeed? Since honestly from what I have seen so far too, no movie star (the leads in under basic point movie) showed any worries about if their movies reached the “secret break-even point” or not but still appeared so brightly and talking proudly about their “outside” successful movies and their successful acting in the movie without any hesitation about the production unlike Seung Gi did. I don’t want to bring down anyone else, but after knowing more things about what kind of real-break-even-point of a movie through Seung Gi’s worry, I just feel a bit f*** when thinking about other stars’ noisy successful stories making by themselves.
