Someone got a letter from his/her younger brother who’s training in the same regiment as SeungGi, and wrote this on twitter:
In order to see Lee Seung Gi, everyone… is giving up Catholic service’s Cola and going to Christian service instead… ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I’m bursting out laughing here ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Catholic service gives out Choco pies and Cola while Christian service gives out Ghana pies and 7-Up ㅋㅌㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

SeungGi did mention going to Christian services in his letter, but I’m not sure if Catholic and Christian services are held at the same time, or they only have to choose one religious service to attend. It seems that Cola is a very hot item (at least in the military), so giving up Cola is a very big deal. ㅋㅋ

Korean journalists are really something!!! **sigh** they can put seunggi’s name in any thing like the new season he won’t be in or the girl he did the MV with in 2011 or about enlisting another celebrity anything doesn’t really relating to him, but when it comes to his new single “Nothing” they are not doing their job well and Hook also is not doing her job well, **sigh**

Thank you for the link and info! Saturday is mentioned as the day for special services like baptism & initiation ceremonies. The regular religious services are probably held on the other days of the week (maybe even daily?). The times listed for the 4 religions do overlap, so I guess the recruits attend services for only 1 religion they choose. That’s probably why that cook never found SeungGi during that Buddhist service. SeungGi was not there! 😛

This is nothing new. Korean media has been doing this (using SeungGi’s name to gain publicity for others) for years! Sometimes, or perhaps most of the times, it’s not their own doing but the “stars” in question who feed those “news” items to the media. Hook can do very little to stop people mentioning SeungGi. If Hook were to issue denials or clarifications to every such news, then they probably end up having no time doing anything else. Also, those people’s intention IS to create publicity. Hook’s action would only add to the media circus that they crave. Some fans blame Hook for not participating in this game enough. In other words, when SeungGi does have activity, Hook should work the publicity machine. This I agree. But then who says they haven’t done so, in their own way? After all, publicity is one thing that SeungGi does not lack. In most cases anyway (smile).
i know that they’re doing that from such a long time, i was just frustrated from not mentioning any thing about his new single or Hook even trying to promoting it well, which when “others” farted on their SNS the media/netizens acted as if the queen of England has spoken

Choco Pies, I remember SeunGi saying while on service He remember the choco pies from the Fans in one of the Love Forecast events, so He do miss the chocolate. He love’s chocolate and sweets BUT loves meat more! Lol ! We all know He eats well and loves good food, but choosing between chocolate and meat is a hard one though… I think I would had to go with the meat too… and I am Catholic! hahaha. This make me smile, thanks for posting!
not a big deal at all, but i recall lee seung gi was an atheist during his 1n2d days
It’s not any deal with normal people of course since we can buy tons of choco-pie or cola as much as we want. But here since it’s in the army where the soldiers even have to use the underwears provided the army so stuffs like cola or choco-pie and other normal cakes are considered as a very big deal if anything as gold.
And Seung Gi’s an atheist but in the army the soldiers have to choose one of the religious services to attend. And I see some fans assumes that Seung Gi chooses Christianity properly for the sake of his experience as a person since he got to learn a bit abt Roman Catholic by himself during his middle school days. Also his 2nd master program is also abt culture and media research, right?
I don’t konw that, but in an interview he doesn’t have religion. Not having religion means he is an atheist And now he is attending Christian service, that is so good to know.
Being an atheist wouldn’t stop him from learning something about a particular religion. LSG is a smart person So he is probably exploring and who knows, that’s probably a good chance to bond with his fellow army men.
