KBS Kang Tae Won Welfare Foundation announced on June 2 that Lee Seung Gi fan community DC Inside Lee Seung Gi Gallery [DCLSG] has delivered 400 electric fans to Jeungpyeong-gun Welfare Center for the Disabled.
Lee Seung Gi enlisted in the military in February and is currently serving in Special Warfare Command in Jeungpyeong-gun. Members of Lee Seung Gi Gallery raised over 20 million won in commemoration of Lee Seung Gi’s 12th debut anniversary and donated it to KBS Kang Tae Won Welfare Foundation.
As part of the project ‘Kind Breeze Delivered by Lee Seung Gi’ that’s been carried out with Lee Seung Gi Gallery since 2012, the welfare foundation purchased electric fans and delivered them to Jeungpyeong-gun.
Starting with sponsoring KBS 1TV’s DongHaeng program in 2010, Lee Seung Gi Galley has continued to donate through KBS Kang Tae Won Welfare Foundation every year.
In 2010~2012, Lee Seung Gi Gallery donated over 34 million won to DongHaeng participants, and since 2012, a total of 2196 electric fans (109 million won worth) to low-income families.
