Seung Gi’s the only celeb who could get promoted so earlier like this, right? As I see normally soldiers can get promoted earlier than the planned date due to their great achievements as soldiers but it often happens in case they’re at higher rank. But here our Seung Gi was only a PFC and already could get promoted as a Corporal, it was only after 5 months intead of 7 months after being a PFC.

Someone posted on DCLSG that for corporals, “physical exam period: prior to promotion. 3 months afterwards.” I’m not sure if this meant they get 2 exams, 1st one prior to promotion, and 2nd one 3 months later, or they get 1 exam sometime between pre-promotion and 3 months afterwards. However, if the latter is true, SeungGi could have been promoted on November 1, and got his exam about a month afterwards. But all the fans replying to the dclsg post seem to think this means SeungGi is getting promoted on December 1. So I guess they get 2 exams.
i’m a bit confused here. If Seunggi’ll get promoted a few days later then why he already had a corporal patch on his uniform, from what that soldier saw on 28th?
I’m confused too. Maybe he meant to say that SeungGi was about to become a corporal. Too bad that he didn’t take any pictures of SeungGi on that day.
But that soldier happened to meet Seung Gi at moment, I doubt he had any talk to Seung Gi. Most visible item makes people easily to tell a soldier’s rank is the patch sticked on uniform, isn’t it? Also that guy’s himself a soldier so it must be impossible for him to use the wrong words to describe Seung Gi’s military rank in reality vs. in near future.
Was it possible Seung Gi didn’t get promoted early on the 1st day of month but on any other day in Nov? Since as I know, TVXQ YH got a 20-day early promotion during last mid-May instead of on June 1st.
Also I see some fans mentioning that it might have possible the show Radio Star’s caption which addressed Seung Gi as a Corporal was not a mistake but they did some check ab Seung Gi’s military rank through Lee Su Geun?

First Seunggi will be promoted 1Dec , no way he would be promoted in Oct when sugeun visited him because that ep was recorded at least 2Nov
Second it was so obviously that he’s lying about that girl bec no way that a civil person could go in to the soldiers dorms or see their lockers he just want to spice his story little bit Seunggi is a mature man about to be 31 he’s a celebrity not a teenage boy who will droll over some girl’s pic

Su geun as comedian likes to exaggerate his story. So even his wife said he should stop lying about other people for variety show.
And as i see through SNS, soldier’s family member allow to enter the dorm if they get permission. It’s photo sticking outside of the cabinet, it’s so easy to see. Also, the girl’s photo’s a normal stuff as other soldiers do, why need to take it so seriously?
Ab radio star, Lee Su Geun never addressed Seung Gi as ‘Corporal’. It’s a caption from the show, and it broadcasted on Nov 9, they can edit any stuff on screen.
Rgd early promotion, no one can confirm exactly date Seung Gi getting promoted so far. While Dclsg fans think it’ll be Dec 1 (today) but on the other hand, Daum Cafe fans said it already happened on Nov 1.
Only thing we can sure now he got an early promotion.

Chill you’re taking things way too seriously. Seung Gi’s a grown man who won’t be hurt for this, and if it is true, it’s a normal thing, just like we fangirl him, besides all soldier fanboy girl group members. No need for fans to be oversensitive and threw accusation at someone who was trying to find evidence on his rank and downvote her comments like she’s bashing Seung Gi.
