17.03.22 SWC News Tidbits – Lee Seung Gi

The West Sea Defense Day Ceremony will be broadcast live on KBS1 & MBC. It starts at 10am KST.

*updated with more details* There will probably be live broadcasting of the event (like the memorial day ceremony last year), so hopefully we’ll see SeungGi on TV again!

Performance Part 3) ‘Our Republic of Korea’ will show ‘Republic of Korea becoming one with patriotic spirit’ with Gyeryong Children’s Choir, Daejeon United Choir, and officers and soldiers led by Corporal Lee Seung Gi who’s currently serving in SWC and singer Eun Ga Eun.

According to the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, the ‘West Sea Defense Day’ Ceremony will be held at Daejeon National Cemetery’s Memorial Square on March 24. The event is to commemorate NK’s military provocations including the 2nd Battle of Yeonpyeong in 2002, ROKS Cheonan sinking, and shelling of Yeonpyeong Island in 2010, and to strengthen support for national security.

Entertainer/Corporal Lee Seung Gi who’s currently serving in SWC will be on stage with singer Eun Ga Eun.

Pleasant news. It’s been awhile since we’ve seen him.

I hope they air it on tv, and I searched Eun Ga Eun, and she has a really good voice. I always wished for Seung Gi to sing with a good young female vocalist, I even made a list of female singers I want him to collaborate with. A duet with this girl will make me really happy. Oh, who am I kidding? Just seeing Seung Gi’s face will make me happy rn. 😆

KBS1 and MBC, 2 major broadcasting networks. I’m sure he’ll be in tip-top condition for this.
