Here’s another entertaining and touching fan account from Zed24. Enjoy! 😀
Dear Seung Gi,
You just blew me away. Thank you for such an amazing 2-hour concert that went by in a flash. Thank you for looking in my direction and maintaining eye contact on several occasions. I certainly will treasure those magical moments for a very long time.
For the Budokan Kibou Concert 2012, I heard you sing ‘Love is Crying’ live. For your Japan Live Concert, you sang acoustic style, ‘Invitation to Me’, my favorite song from the ‘Soop’ 5.5 mini album. As if that was not enough, you also sang ‘Cry Out’, the first song that caught my attention of you and has brought me to the point of no return. Or is it a point of endless return to your concerts and fan meetings?
You see, when you spoilt me, I became greedy and wanted so badly to hear you sing, ‘Last Words’, which you didn’t. So, I am hoping that you will do that for the Hope Concert 2013. Come to think of it, that will be about one month away, something I am definitely looking forward to after suffering from a serious case of LSG withdrawal syndrome.
So, what do I like about your Japan Live 2013 Concert? The concept of having a video interspersed with your live singing. The video was overloaded with your saccharine-sweet killer smiles that can give anyone instant diabetes. But who is complaining, right? From the video clip, you gave Airens a sneak peek into your daily life which includes what clothes to wear, what you do for leisure, like playing the guitar, listening to your own song (LOL) and baking. I like the way the video ended showing the following words on the side of the cake – I LOVE YOU AIREN. Yes, we love you, too, Seung Gi!
I like the way you enjoyed yourself during the concert, especially when the crew pushed the acoustic stage and you were sitting among the other four musicians. It looked as though you were on a joyride.
I like the way you exuded confidence when you did the body wave during the jazz rendition of ‘Because You are my Woman’ and ‘Wedding Veil’ or when you did the ‘Noona is my Style’. You were less confident doing the MCing for your concert in Japanese but you persevered by setting that as your personal challenge. I’m proud of you for doing so. In fact, being your own MC allowed you to be more intimate with your fans, teasing them along the way. There were times you did not get the intonation or the pronunciation right. You repeated what you said and sought affirmation from the audience. Don’t worry, Airens are a forgiving lot. They just adore you to bits to let your shortcomings get in the way of the concert.
I like the way you try to give a fresh approach to your concert. You appeared in a short hairstyle exposing your forehead, with a slimmer and tanned face, and looking sharp in a suit. You sang ‘Return’ whole-heartedly without allowing the loud accompanying live band to drown your voice. In short, everything was perfectly planned and executed, bearing LSG’s perfectionist stamp. How can Airens not ask for more for your upcoming concert in Seoul?
Till then, I’m looking forward to see you in Seoul, as promised.
