A SWC parent posted that there would be a big event at SWC Headquarter tomorrow. It’s a festival held with the city of Icheon (not to be confused with Incheon) to celebrate SWC headquarter’s relocation, and the soldiers will get to show off their special skills. SeungGi and LSGn are reported to be hosting the event.
Since this seems to be an outdoor event that’s open to the public, there’s probably a good chance for a SeungGi sighting! Can’t wait for some pictures/videos!!!

this is a very significant event since it involves SWC headquarters move but primarily for military and govt officials. ceremony part is serious and formal in nature. for ex Chief of Staff for army and politicians are key commemorators.
so i don’t think really appropriate for SG to be there as he only recently enlisted and there are way more senior people in SWC above him. and honestly hope there are no press pics of him there w the other senior ppl.
if the cafe post is true about SG mcing, it’s prob for more informal part of the day later on.

It was his seniors and officials, at least the ones who organizes the event, who asked/persuaded him to be there, so I don’t think it was inappropriate. Being the important guest of the event and the emcee/performer are different. The invited soldiers may have certain military conditions to be invited, but those conditions are not the same with the performer/helper. And if it was a direct order from SWC, he couldn’t decline it. That would be considered inappropiate.
